About Us

Founded in 2006, the Red Flag Fund is chartered to carry on the 20 year tradition of the Wegman Benefit Fund in providing financial support to Road Racers throughout the United States who are seriously injured during competition. We are a 501(c)(3) exempt Non-Profit Charity.

The fund was created by Jeff and Jennifer Kufalk after much consideration following the 2006 mid-year announcement by Gordon Lunde that the Wegman Benefit Fund would shut its doors at the end of the calendar year. A great deal of discussion took place with the Wegman Benefit Fund officers in the decision of creating a successor fund.

About the company.

Red Flag Fund Inc., is comprised of a 2 officers, and 3 directors who collectively make up the Board of Directors.

Jeff Kufalk, President and founder of Red Flag Fund Inc.
A CCS Roadracer since 2000 and owner of Kufalk Media LLC brings a wealth of business management, roadracing and online community building experience to the team. Owning and managing several prominent online motorcycle communities, Jeff has the knowledge, contacts and more importantly, the passion for supporting the sport of motorcycle roadracing.

Reaching out to over 1 million people annually, both online and trackside, Jeff has the ability to spread the word and interact with the community we will support. Stepping aside from the full race schedule he has run for the last 5 years will be a challenge, but he'll be at more events, interacting with more racers than ever before!

Jennifer Kufalk, Secretary, Treasurer and founder of Red Flag Fund Inc.
Jennifer came with a simple but crucial vision following the announcement of the retirement of the Wegman Benefit Fund; "The fund must go on". A fund specifically for injured roadracers, a national presence and GROWTH.

With unmatched organizational skills and a strong accounting background, coupled with the love we all share for this two-wheeled madness, Jennifer set the wheels in motion for the future by creating the Red Flag Fund.

Alexa Krueger, Director, Red Flag Fund Inc.
As owner of Spyder Leatherworks, Alexa has been involved in motorsports of one form or another for most of her life. First as a spectator, later as a racer and currently as sponsor for riders, along with her business which is primarily race oriented.

As former member of the Wegman Benefit Fund board, Alexa brings energy and enthusiasm to compliment her critical thinking and organizational skills. She has been an entrepreneur and small business owner for over 20 years, all of which will help the Red Flag Fund move into the future.

To Alexa, giving back to the sport of motorcycle roadracing is the least she can do. Helping injured racers not only brings a sense of achievement, but knowing that their family members have the Red Flag Fund to turn to for assistance and comfort is a reward in and of itself.
