Who We Are

Our Board of Directors:

Brian McLaughlin, President, Treasurer, Director:
Brian began racing in 1980, competing in motocross and karts. He switched to roadracing in 1991, competing with CCS, F-USA, AMA, ASRA and USGPRU primarily on 2 stroke GP machinery. Mentoring other riders and racers as an instructor for Learning Curves Racing School gives him a unique perspective on the racing industry.
After 29 years racing, Brian decided it was time to give back to the racing community. As former production manager of Buell Motor Company and currently a college physics instructor, He brings organizational and leadership skills to keep the Red Flag Fund moving forward.

Kathleen McLaughlin, Director:
Sitting on the sidelines is not Kathleen’s style. She was the major factor causing Brian to switch to roadracing. A true team player, she become an accomplished race mechanic. She has also held a CCS race license and enjoys track days as well.
Kathleen has extensive business experience in office management, accounting, inside sales and promotion. She brings all these skills to promote and organize the Red Flag Fund.

Alexa Krueger, Director:
As owner of Spyder Leatherworks, Alexa has been involved in motorsports of one form or another for most of her life. First as a spectator, later as a racer and currently as sponsor for riders, along with her business which is primarily race oriented.
As former member of the Wegman Benefit Fund board, Alexa brings energy and enthusiasm to compliment her critical thinking and organizational skills. She has been an entrepreneur and small business owner for over 20 years, all of which will help the Red Flag Fund move into the future.

Jane Stiles, Secretary, Director:
Jane is the wife of Mark Stiles and mother of Meghan Stiles. The Stiles family has been involved with road racing since 1989 when Mark started his racing hobby. They race with AMA, ASRA, CSS and USGPRU. The family recently aquired TrackSide Suspension & Engineering, run by Mark Stiles and Meghan's fiance Scott Ryan.
Jane has been a corner worker for CCS; she's currently an AMA team owner for Team Stiles. In addition, she has been a certified EMT in Darien, WI for 15 years. Jane is currently involved with two non-profit organizations and works full time as the Vice President, secretary and accounting manager for a small business. She provides these skills to help promote and organize the Red Flag Fund.

Claudia Ritger, Director:

Don Elfstrom, Director:
Don has been involved in motorcycle road racing for 6 years. He retired from racing in 2007 after winning a CCS amateur national championship so he can focus on his primary mission in life, Christian Sport Bike Racing Ministries. The mission of CSBRacing is to be a rolling church bringing the message of Jesus Christ to the track during racing events.
Co-existing with that mission, Don is the primary mentor of his two live in nephews; Jon White and Eddie Rusch. Look for the up and coming young racer Eddie Rusch on the track as an expert with Don’s former competition number: 316. As a CEO of a small business; Don brings excellent leadership and communication skills to the Red Flag Fund board.
